Chocolate Pretzel Pie
Inspired by the salty, chocolatey goodness of the cookies I made recently and with the Loveless Cafe book of American pies and puddings fresh in my mind, I thought I’d make a chocolate pretzel pie for my March blog over at Rangemaster.
Have you seen this Weebl and Bob about pie by the way?
Here’s what you’ll need:
Chocolate Pretzel Pie
140g salted pretzels[the hard kind that come in crisp packets]
100g rolled porridge oats
220g unsalted butter
70g light muscavado sugar
2 tbsp golden syrup
40g unsweetened cocoa (4 tbsp)
100g 70% chocolate broken into squares[optional but will add depth to the chocolate taste]
750ml milk
70g soft brown sugar
4tbsp cornflour
Smoked seasalt flakes[optional]
You can see the recipe over at my Rangemaster blog. Feel free to show me some love over there!

Wibbly chocolate pudding with a salty gooey pretzel bottom.
I love salty deserts, this looks/sounds right up my street! YUM!!!
