[CLOSED] Free Chocolate!
August 6, 2012
This is now closed. Thanks to everyone who entered and congratulations to Lynne who won the competition. Enjoy your chocolates.
UPDATE: The Genevie website has now been updated to say that these chocolates are not handmade in the UK but are infact imported from Belgium. More info can be found on their website, with updates with any further changes to the business. The prize is still valid and the review still stands but I just wanted to be clear about the provenance.

Aah, must be fate surely, I adore coffee creams.
Hmmm, my favourite chocolatey baked good, that’d probably be the chocolate and porter (beer) cake that Pete made, which I just adored (and keep begging for him to make again).
But, you know, most chocolatey baked things are good, if good chocolate is used…

My favourite chocolatey baked goods are the home made brownies from our local deli. http://thedelicatessenpontyclun.co.uk/ They are so good. One day I’ll persuade them to give me the recipe.
Ooh Lovely. I am currently undecided between the recipe you gave me and the Humming Bird Bakery one. I’d compare them, but the brownies never seem to hang around long enough…. 🙂
Thanks for entering. How are you, the Mr and the bump?
My favourtie Chocolate baked good is Chocolate Puddle Pudding – gooey cake and sauce all in one hit, sublime!

I know I’m just plain greedy, but I can’t resist this, even though I have a box to review – it’s not as big as yours though!
My favourite chocolatey bake at the moment is friands – ones with chocolate in them.
Thought I was following you on Twitter – oops. I am now though.
My favourite is brownies.
So hard to pick a favourite but it has to brownies. Absolutely love them. Cookies are a very close second.

When I was about 12, I had my first piece of Mississippi Mud Pie. It was perfect! It tasted of gooey chocolate and cappuccino mousse and had a very thin base. Whenever anyone went back to that restaurant, I would ask them to bring me a piece in a doggy bag. That was years ago and the restaurant has changed hands countless times since but I have never tasted a Mississippi Mud Pie I like since and I still get a little misty eyed at the thought of that first time!

My favourite chocolatey baked good would have to be brownies – which I can happily make gluten free 😀
