Cooking with Paul Merrett and Total Greek
Here’s a recipe for a lovely day and some tasty food.
Take a large amount of greek yoghurt…
add a whole bunch of delicious ingredients..
a renowned gastro-pub owning, cook book writing, and very friendly celebrity chef.
Throw in a posse of happy food bloggers,
and leave to steam gently in a very muggy Italian cookery school in central London.
What do you get?
Three of the 1000 ways to love your TOTAL:
Fresh and Smoked Salmon Rillette with Wholemeal Toast
Spiced Butternut Tagine with Pepper & Toasted Fennel Seed Yoghurt,
Served With Cauliflower Cous Cous (which is amazing)
Semolina Sponge Cake with Almonds, Hazelnuts, Greek Yoghurt and Honey
To finish, transform the cookery school into a private dining room , photograph, tweet, and demolish:
with thanks to Ali and Emma at Total Greek for inviting me to a very fun day (and for the free yoghurts) and to all the other bloggers for being so friendly.
To see what some of the other bloggers thought of the day, have a look at these :
An Essex Wife (part of a flurry of exciting London things)
Gourmet Mum (not about the day, she was there and it’s a great blog)
(If I’ve missed you off, do shout)
What a great day we had! Love your pictures xx
