Rachel Khoo’s boeuf bourguinon

At work last Saturday a clip of Rachel Khoo’s Little Paris Kitchen came onto Saturday Kitchen and made me feel very hungry. So, today’s lunch was Rachel Khoo’s Boeuf Bourguinon and I can vouch for its deliciousness. I didn’t have chance to get any bread (I know, I know) so we had my favourite cheat dumplings instead of her baguette ones. I can’t remember where first saw the recipe, so apologies to wherever I’ve nicked it from.

Cheats dumplings for a quick cobbler

140g self raising flour
4 tbsp low fat greek yoghurt
enough water to combine into a stiff dough
salt, pepper and any herbs or cheese you care to add. I put thyme and some parmesan into mine today

Mix everything together, roll out and cut into circles. Brush with milk.
Bake ontop of your stew for 25mins at 160c
